Terms of Service
Last updated 1 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us for using NatchGSM. They're written to be read, so they say things plainly.
The short version
- NatchGSM is free while it's in early access. Nothing is charged until paid plans arrive. Their terms go here first, for you to agree to before you pay anything.
- The app and the service run on your own machines. Your game servers, worlds and backups stay there and they're yours.
- You look after your account, the devices you link to it and what you run on your servers.
- Don't use it to attack, break or overload anything, ours or anyone else's.
- It's being built, so it's provided as it is. Keep backups of anything you can't afford to lose.
- These terms are under the law of England and Wales.
1. Who we are
NatchGSM is made by Natchland Studios, a sole trader in the United Kingdom trading as Natchland ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at support@natchgsm.com or through the contact page.
2. What these terms cover
"NatchGSM" here means the software you install (the desktop app, the background service, the helper, the command line tool and setup) and our online services: the website at natchgsm.com, your account, device sign-in, linked hosts, the web dashboard and game requests.
The Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why and how long it's kept. It's part of this agreement too.
3. Agreeing to these terms
- You agree to these terms when you tick the box in setup or on the sign-up page. If you don't agree, don't install NatchGSM or make an account.
- You need to be at least 13 to make an account. If you're under 18, check with a parent or guardian first.
- If you use NatchGSM for a business or another organisation, you're agreeing for it as well, so you need the authority to do that.
4. Early access and paid plans
- NatchGSM is in early access. It's free while it's being built and polished.
- Features will change while it's in early access. Some will be added, some will work differently and a few may go.
- A paid plan comes later. Before anything is charged, the terms for paid plans will be added here and you'll be asked to agree to them before you pay. When they arrive, payments go through Stripe.
5. Your account
- Use an email address you can get to. We send codes there to confirm it's yours and to reset your password.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anyone with it can use your account, link devices to it and control your linked hosts from the web dashboard.
- An account belongs to one person. Don't share it.
- You're responsible for what's done with your account. If you think someone else has got into it, reset your password, which signs out every browser and app, then tell us.
6. Linked hosts, signed-in apps and the web dashboard
- Linking a host to your account lets anyone signed in to your account reach that host and its servers from the web dashboard, with full control. Only approve a code you started yourself, on a device you control.
- Signing in the app or the command line tool gives it the same access to your account as you have on the website.
- You can unlink a host from your account page or from the host itself whenever you like. Sign out everywhere, on your account page, ends every signed-in browser and app.
- The dashboard reaches your host through our servers. If they're down the dashboard can't reach it, but your host and its game servers keep running.
7. Your machines and your game servers
- The app and the service run on machines you provide and control. Your game servers, worlds, backups and settings are stored there, not with us. They're yours, so looking after them is up to you.
- You're responsible for those machines, their security, their internet connection and anything you install or run on them, including mods and plugins.
- Every game has its own rules. You need the right to run a game's server and you have to follow that game's licence and terms. We aren't connected to any game's maker unless we say so.
- Installing a game server downloads it from the game's own source, like Valve's SteamCMD. Add-ons come from theirs, like uMod. Those are other companies' services, under their own terms. We don't control them.
- Setup asks for administrator rights once, to install the service and a helper that makes Windows Firewall rules for your game servers and installs signed updates. Think about what you open to the internet.
- NatchGSM makes backups on your machine. A backup on the same machine won't survive that machine failing, so keep a copy somewhere else of anything you can't afford to lose.
8. Updates
- The service checks for new versions and the app tells you when one's ready. Updates are signed by us and checked against that signature before they're installed.
- We may stop supporting an old version, for example when our online services change. An older version may then need updating before every feature works again.
9. Game requests
- Anyone can see the list. A confirmed account can ask for a game and vote.
- A request's name, status and vote count are public. Who asked for it or voted for it isn't shown.
- Votes help decide what's built next, they aren't a promise. We decide which games are added and when.
- We can merge a duplicate into another request, decline a request or add a note to it.
10. Using it fairly
You agree not to:
- attack, probe or overload NatchGSM or natchgsm.com, or try to get around their security
- get into someone else's account, host or game server without their permission
- use NatchGSM to break the law or a game's terms, or to attack anyone else's systems
- build on natchgsm.com's API or send it automated requests beyond what NatchGSM's own software does, unless we've agreed it with you
- resell NatchGSM, rebadge it or offer it under your own name without a written agreement with us
Businesses are welcome to use NatchGSM for their own servers and for servers they run for other people.
11. The software
- We own NatchGSM and keep all rights in it. We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use it on machines you control, for as long as you keep to these terms. You can't pass that licence on to someone else.
- Don't sell, rent or share copies of the software or of setup. Pointing people to natchgsm.com to download it is fine.
- NatchGSM includes open source parts. Their own licences still apply to those parts.
12. Feedback
If you send us ideas, bug reports or suggestions, we can use them to improve NatchGSM without owing you anything for them. Thanks for sending them.
13. Suspending or closing an account
- We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Unless it's active abuse or a security risk, we'll look into it first and tell you why.
- You can close your account whenever you like. Email support@natchgsm.com from the address on the account. The Privacy Policy says what's deleted and what's kept.
- Closing an account unlinks its hosts. NatchGSM keeps working on your machines without an account, only the web dashboard and game requests need one.
14. When things go wrong
- NatchGSM is provided as it is and as available. We work hard to make it reliable, but while it's in early access it will have bugs. We can't promise it'll always work or never lose data.
- We can't promise the website, the web dashboard or our other online services will always be available.
- We aren't responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, for losses caused by events outside our control or for business losses, like lost profit or revenue.
- If we're responsible for a loss, our total liability to you is limited to £100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it happened, whichever is more.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit. Nothing here takes away your rights under UK consumer law.
15. Changes to these terms
- We may change these terms, for example when paid plans arrive or the law changes. The date at the top says when they last changed.
- When a change matters, the next time you use your account on natchgsm.com you'll be asked to agree to the new version. Linking a device and the web dashboard wait until you do.
- If you don't agree to a change, you can stop using NatchGSM and close your account.
16. The law that applies
These terms are under the law of England and Wales and disputes about them go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can bring a claim in your own country's courts as well. If you live outside the UK, nothing here takes away a right your own country's law gives you.
17. Contact
